People ask me to write about their music.
The amount of music that arrives is alarming and impossible to keep up with.
Here are the sales pitches, all 100% real.

"I
know you must get an untold amount of submissions for review, but maybe
you could see it in your hearts to review our little record. We made it
ourselves with our own hands, our own gear, in our own studio, with our
own money - no kickstarter or nothin' and we think it's pretty good,
but we're looking for unbiased, brutally honest reviews -which is where
you come in. We would describe our sound as a melding of all of our
influences to create a mix of singer-songwriter sensibility with
seemingly straight ahead rock hooks built from chords and melodies that
you wouldn't always expect - often with alternate tunings helping create
unique sonic elements. We're influenced by bands like Wilco, Placebo,
The National and Death Cab for Cutie. No, we will not ever say that we
sound like nothing you've ever heard before, but we do think we have
created a recognizable sonic aesthetic and continuity on our latest
recording."
